- If you're mincing the soya chunks in the mixie / food processor , make sure to only whip it once or twice ( just until whole soy chunks pieces breaks down) . Do not run food processor for too long, as it will become into a paste and you will loose the texture of the soya chunks.
- To give a good flavor for the soya chunks - while boiling the water you can add 1 or 2 tsp of milk and then boil chunks .
- Best way to remove excess water is by using your hands. So the water is completely removed. But if you wish to use a sieve , you may use it ( there will be some water in the granules / chunks).
- Add salt only if you're making savory dish. For making sweets / desserts - then you can skip the salt.
- Only soya chunks needs to be cooked in the boiling water. For soya granules, it is enough if you soak it in the hot boiled water.
